Hello!
I have admired River Phoenix from the age of thirteen, and although in the beginning his eyes were what lured me in, I soon learned of the depth of his character as a person. He was one of a kind in Hollywood; a trailblazer for sharing causes of importance for the environment, animal rights, equality, and the plight of the homeless and under priveleged. My mission has always been to share the person he was. The truth of River Phoenix's life did not change because of the circumstances of his death, nor did that make him a liar. Within this website you will find memorials dedicated to River and his truth. My hope is that as time goes on the memorials and dedications from his fans will continue to grow.

About Me
My name is Kristi aka Ocean Arizona (a nickname given to me in high school poking fun at my admiration, but jokes on them...I loved it!!) I am a creative at heart. but as I grew into adulthood just like most people I settled into the roles of life; parenthood, job, etc. and found that the things I had once enjoyed had become a distant memory. It was then during the pandemic that I found a group of friends that brought out my creativity. Through River's inspiration, I began to create again, and learned some new things about myself and what I was capable of along the way I love to write, sing, act and just basically share things that I am passionate about in creative ways. I learned some time ago that life is what you make of it. We each have a predetermined number of days on this earth and I am choosing to live out the rest of mine not only as a mother of three and a wife, but also as someone who follows my dreams and tries to make a difference for the better. We all have that power.
I am an admin for the Facebook Group River Runs Through Us. The group was created with a group of my friends all around the globe to honor the legacy of River Phoenix, to remember the exceptional human being he was and still is to people all over the world.
